The ProduceMe Story
Of the many hats we home musicians are required to wear today, two work hand in hand together, having a pivotal role in the results of our final mixes: Songwriter and Producer.
For most of the artists you hear every day on popular Radio and TV, the duties of Songwriter and Producer are at some point tasked by different people (or groups). Their job is to complete that ONE step, moving the song productively up the ladder to the final mix.
What Is The Function Of A Producer?
First off, it is important to make the distinction between producer and collaborator. Although a producer can collaborate, people often group the two together, overlooking the impact a producer can have on their music. While they share similarities, they are quite different. A collaborator is typically an artist with his own ego and vision, whereas a producer commits to the artist's vision of the song and has the objectivity to direct the song where it needs to go. A producer can interpret what an artist is capable of accomplishing with a piece of music, then translate that into a palatable form that can be digested by many. Easily overlooked, the role a producer has in contributing to the final result is unquestionable. What Is ProduceMe?
ProduceMe is a network of musicians and producers designed to make it easier for musicians to find and manage the producer resources they deserve. How Can ProduceMe Help Me?
Three words: objectivity, objectivity, and objectivity. Without it, we are all at some point destined to be limited in our reach to success. At ProduceMe, we know your music has potential and with the help of a producer your music can break through those limitations. As a part of the ever-growing ProduceMe network, you will have access to the skill-set of everyone in the ProduceMe network. While producing other musicians in the network, you will also be refining your skills as a songwriter and producer. Bringing you closer to the final mixes you know you deserve.
